On the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday and National Children’s Day, Ghashful laid wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait in Chittagong on 17 March 2023 and hoisted the national flag at the head office at Chandgaon.
On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday and National Children’s Day, a painting and writing competition was organized at Ghashful Paran Rahman School in Madarbari, Chittagong. The ceremony started with the hoisting of the national flag and recitation of the Holy Quran. After the drawing and writing competition of the school students, the birth, childhood and youth of Bangabandhu were discussed among the students. Apart from this, a documentary on the biography of Bangabandhu was shown to the students through a multimedia projector.
The 103rd birthday and National Children’s Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated at Hathajari Gumanmardan Union Parishad premises on 17th March at 9 am under the initiative of Ghashful ENRICH program conducted in collaboration with PKSF. Gumanmarddan UP Chairman Mr. Mojibur Rahman Mujib and Union Senior Committee President were present as chief guests, while all members including general secretary, local dignitaries, students of Ghashful Education Center and officials of Ghashful participated in the event. In a discussion meeting organized on this occasion, the speakers wished the soul of Bangabandhu and wished the honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a safe and healthy life. The program ended by cutting a cake. Various books on Bangabandhu’s biography were distributed among the children on behalf of the Parishad.
A discussion meeting, children’s drawing competition and award distribution ceremony were organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the greatest architect of Bengali independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day, at Ghashful ENRICH Program office in Mekhal Union of Chittagong Hathazari Upazila on 17th March 2023. Saju Ara Begum, female member of Mekhal Union Parishad, Bilkis Akhtar were present as guests. Apart from this, children, young men and women and officers and workers of the program participated. At the end of the discussion, the day celebrations ended with cake cutting and distribution of prizes to the children. Ghashful is implementing the ENRICH program in collaboration with PKSF.
Naogaon, Niamatpur Upazila No. 4 Sadar Union organized various programs on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday and National Children’s Day on 17th March in collaboration with PKSF under the initiative of ENRICH program. Niamatpur UP Chairman Mr. Md. Bazlur Rahman Naeem was present as the chief guest in the program organized at the Ghashful ENRICH Program office. Local UP members, journalists, freedom fighters, teachers, Ghashful officials Anwar Hossain, Abul Kalam Azad, ENRICH program health officers, social development officers, health assistants and local dignitaries were also present. On Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday and National Children’s Day, the program was inaugurated at 9:00 am with a tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait. Immediately after the inauguration, a poetry and rhyme recitation, dance and patriotic song competition was held with the children of the education support center of the ENRICH program. In the discussion meeting organized after the competition, the chief guest said, Bangabandhu was the best Bengali of a thousand years. He has led various movements and struggles throughout his life, starting from school. He thanked the Ghashful officials and said that the education support program under Ghashful ENRICH program has got a positive response from the people of Niamatpur.
