Under the ENRICH Program implemented by Ghashful with the support of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), subject-based basic training was organized for teachers in Niamatpur, Naogaon district. Eighteen female teachers participated in this training held on March 23rd and 24th, 2025. The main objective of this training program, organized as part of the education support activities, was to enhance the professional skills of the teachers.
The training was provided by master trainers in Bengali, Mathematics, and English, under the supervision of Mr. Md. Shahidul Alam, Upazila Education Officer. The trainers included: Master Trainer for Bengali: Mr. Md. Obaidur Rahman, Head Teacher, Mundikhair Government Primary School; Master Trainer for Mathematics: Mr. Mrinal Chandra Pramanik, Head Teacher, Basudebpur Government Primary School; Master Trainer for English: Mr. Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Assistant Teacher, Darajpur Government Primary School.
The trainers conducted the training with great efficiency, and the trainees attentively learned the subjects. The participating teachers expressed their commitment to properly applying the knowledge gained from this training among the students at the field level.
Mr. KMG Rabbani Basunia, Assistant Director and Focal Person (SDP), Ghashful, overall supervised the training. Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Deputy Manager, Ghashful, Niamatpur Area, Naogaon, presided over the event. Besides, Mr. Md. Kohinur Islam, Samriddhi Upazila Program Coordinator, Niamatpur, Naogaon, was in charge of the overall management of the training.
The training program has been praised as an important part of Ghashful’s education development efforts. Concerned individuals have expressed hope that it will play a significant role in improving the quality of local education.
It is worth noting that the Ghashful ENRICH Program has been operating very successfully in Niamatpur, Naogaon district since July 1, 2022. The main goal of the program is to increase the assets and capabilities of poor families, which plays an effective role in poverty alleviation. Under this program, education, health, social development, and various income-generating programs are being implemented.
